Ended up here randomly not knowing it was such a well-known spot. My friend was thoroughly impressed! We had the taste of hakkasan menu which was perfect in that you didn't feel overly full at the end, but happily sated. The Chilean seabass in honey was the highlight for me--absolutely succulent fish. Would go back in a heartbeat!

    Soho Square

0.13 mi from Hakkasan Hanway Place
    18 reviews

Soho Square is not a particularly noteworthy green space in London, really. As the name suggests, it's smack dab in the centre of Soho in central London. I find it a wonderful place to catch my breath and have a sit down if I'm running around Soho or Oxford street, doing a bit of shopping. In the warmer months, you'll ...

An absolutely unparalleled selection of books, and the Foyles editions themselves are particularly beautiful. Great for non-fiction requirements as well, such as foreign language grammar books.

I'm the third generation of my family to buy umbrellas from this wonderful emporium - as quintessentially British as it's possible to be, with the ultimate accessory for the British weather. The classic: a slim-rolled gentleman's 'London' umbrella, with Whangee cane handle will set you back £75.

Bourne & Hollingsworth is not the easiest of bars to find, but that's probably the point. Pour yourself down the stairs (taking extra care if - like BarChick - you were pissed and wearing heels). Inside? Well imagine your Grandmother is a kick ass DJ, and serves amazing cocktails in her sitting room, then you'll know what to expect. The ...

The brightly light exterior is a beacon in a relatively dark and quiet Soho Square. Four floors, food, drinks, entertainment this gay bar packs the punches. Right off Oxford Street, so even during the day it's a fantastic resting place. It's small - but fun. The staff are incredibly friendly, the DJs play excellent sets and the menu offers a ...

Greek Street is a street in Soho that leads south from Soho Square to Shaftesbury Avenue. It's full of shops, restaurants and pubs that tends to lead to people over flowing into the street. There's a little something for everyone as it has quite the mix of things to see and try.

It was sad to see the first outpost in Westbourne Grove disappear, but fantastic that it's been reborn at two central London locations: this one in Soho, the other in Covent Garden. The speciality here are pintxos (pronounced peen-chos, meaning ‘thorn’ or ‘spike’), the Basque country variant of tapas. As you might expect, a great Spanish wine and cav list ...

Love the atmosphere here (though the clientele can get a little douchey), and though it's expensive the cocktails are pretty great. Food is also pretty delicious. While the other reviewer noted poor service... it's London, I don't have very high expectations when it comes to smiley and attentive waitresses.

It’s a Fat Duck for drinkers in here. Based in the poor man’s Soho; Noho, it’s a cool space, hidden neatly down some stairs. Inside they've got some kind of punky old school gent’s club vibe (if that exists?) It’s kinda cool without trying too hard. James and JJ are all about mixing things up, they're not afraid to experiment; ...

It very silly really. You can see why the critics didn't like it, but if you are human then you are probably going to like it. Queen fans will because the musicalisation of the songs is done very well: Brian May's heavy involvement making sure of that. But the show is entertaining anyway and the performances are great - especially ...

The former fruit and vegetable market, now converted to shops, restaurants etc. Not as unique as it used to be since the chains moved in. Avoid the market which is full of rubbish. The London Transport Museum in the former flower hall is recommended for transport buffs
