For a hotel located in the Lower Queen Anne arts district (or next to it, really, not in it enough to be convenient) this is a pretty bland and corporate place to stay. They have a nice fitness room and the staff is friendly and all, but there just really isn't any personality happening here. I'd stay somewhere else if you're aiming for this neighborhood. Breakfast is included.Recommended for:Business Travelers

Very Friendly Hotel in the Queen Anne area of Seattle. Very close to the Seattle Center. About a 15 min walk to the Space Needle. Great staff, they can get you anywhere you want to go. Great restaurant across the street and one block from a 24 hour QFC grocery store.

This Hampton Inn is close the Seattle Center and the Space Needle. It's at the northern stop of the monorail, so you have easy access to downtown and the tourist sites at the other end of the monorail. I've had no problems staying here.

This Hampton Inn is in a great location in the Queen Ann district on 2nd Avenue near Roy, just a few blocks from the Space Needle, and the "RIde The Ducks" funtour. The day staff is friendly and helpful, the continental breakfast is complimentary. That's the good news.
The bad news is that there are some shortcomings for this place, and these can be exasperated when you check in at 1 in the morning after cancelled flights, as the last person to get a room! At that time, the hotel's 5 floors (it's on a hill) is confusing, since the 3rd floor is the lobby, and there are 2 elevator banks, some going down to the garage but not to the 2nd floor, where my room was! There is underground parking available, but not for SUVs, as the ceiling is too low, so those you park in another area out front. And my room was 53 degrees when I went inside, (it was 32 outside) and it took all night for the little heater to get up to 70.
The "Suites" are slightly larger than a regular hotel room, but they are not "Suites", not a two room suite like Embassy Suites, or not even like Marriotts Springhill Suites. It has a kitchenette, where you can stand in one place and use the sink, microwave, coffeemaker, stove, and refrigerator without moving your feet. Otherwise, it is a normal room, and that was the "Suites" room, so the other rooms must be smaller still
The furnishings are new and in good condition, but the floors are a little thin, so you clomp down the maze of halls, and hear your upstairs neighbor getting up in the morning.
So for $150, you get a good location, but that is a bit high for the other amenities you don't get, like a warm welcoming room. Oh, and parking costs you $13/day.
