You absolutely can't beat the location!5 minutes to all the major sites and 2 minutes to the Topkapi Palace. This is a 3* hotel that is small and intimate.
The owners are at the property and so helpful with tours, directions and information in general.
The rooms are comfortable but be forewarned, the bathrooms are small.
The restaurant up top has spectacular views making this a bargain to not be missed.

I was underwhelmed by this hotel overall, but I must admit, it had a great location, just blocks from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and all the activity and entertainment around them. With no elevator, climbing the stairs to eat a basic Turkish breakfast, packaged condiments and all, is only made up for with the fabulous views looking out over the Marmara. They do make a good effort to keep to colorful Turkish décor, but don’t expect luxury here, or extra amenities, just good, simple, clean quality. When you book, ask for one of the rooms with a sea view and be forewarned that you will hear the early morning prayer call, although to me, that is a great part of the experience of being in Istanbul.

Nice place, very convenient to famous spots in Istanbul. It's also affordable and has a lot of restaurants to eat, drink and relax near by. The ladies at the kitchen cooks nice pastries for breakfast.

I love this boutique hotel! Hotel Hanedan is located near the Four Seasons in a quieter area of Sultanahmet. This hotel is warm, inviting, and feels like a cozy guesthouse. I felt right at home and loved speaking and chatting with the staff. They are incredibly accommodating and are happy to help in any way they can. I was told that some of the rooms have been recently updated. The hotel sticks to an Anatolian theme with dark wooden furniture and warm yellow walls. My family stayed here during their visit to Istanbul and they really enjoyed their time. The breakfast on the terrace is lovely, and you can get a great view of the old city.Recommended for:Family Travelers
