This location gets a plus for having 2 gift shops. If 1 is super crowded just make your way through the restaurant to the 2nd one that's not right off the street. There is also a 2nd story where you don't feel completely cut off from the rest of the place as you can look down into the bar. It's a very open setting.
Our food actually came out a lot quicker than I expected, since the waitress apologized in advance saying they just had a party of 50 come in upstairs before us. It was nice of her.
The 2 cons to this place are the lack of "waiting space". If it's nice outside the cool thing is you can wait on the steps of the Ford Theatre next door (ok ok its really only cool if you're a history person and not from DC :P) the 2nd problem is that the bathrooms are downstairs, in the basement. I'm not really sure if they have handicapped accessible toilets in the building. If they do they eluded me. But honestly, this place is so packed and cramped I don't think I'd attempt it in a wheelchair, just FYI.
But overall, good food, good drinks, good specials in the gift shop. This is also the place to get your pins if you're a collector. They seem to get a lot of limited edition ones here for sale and trade.
