The hotel is pretty awesome but it's definitely a strange mix of clientele. The best part of this hotel is the beach club. Actual sand running up the shores of the pool. It's a little oasis paradise with great music.

The Hard Rock is a lot of fun. Eat at the Pink Taco or Mr. Lucky's. Play in the main casino surrounded by cool drum kits and guitars donated by famous musicians. Drink at the round bar. Enjoy a show at the Joint. This place never gets old. It is a younger crowd for sure.

I have only stayed in the HRH suites and they are the best suites in Vegas in my opinion. So contemporary and luxurious. The location of HRH is a bit inconvenient because it is not located on the strip. There is nothing to do around the hotel so you have to head towards the strip. It's only about a $6 cab ride though. The service at HRH is not the best either. But the theme of the whole place is really entertaining. Got a tattoo at the ink shop they have on their first floor. Those guys know what they're doing and know how to make you feel comfortable.

My favorite Vegas hotel. It's about a mile off the Strip, which can be a major downside for those who prefer to walk everywhere in Vegas (and the shuttle inconveniently only runs until 5pm!) - but it makes up for it in character. Rock legends plaster the room doors, framed rock memorabilia or concert photos make up the room decor, rain shower heads are always a plus (especially when they cascade into a deep well of a tub), and the beds are some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Plus HRH has some of the best clubs and bars in town, a fabulous music/rock/concert atmosphere, and an in-house Starbucks. It also has its own venue - the Joint - a great intimate blues-house-style that serves headliner names. Perfect for rock fans or anyone who loves the rock n' roll lifestyle.Recommended for:

Ok short and to the point here for me. I dont think that this Casino is nearly half as good as most of the casino's on the strip or even in downtown... but it is what it is, a passe idea of restaurants turned casino when most of the restaurants are bleh at best... I think this place is just another way to have money sucked out of your pocket...
Seriously when was the last time you went to a Hard Rock to buy a t-shirt to show you were in some far flung destination. Wasnt that so 20-25 years ago? I remember I was stoked to have a Hard Rock Bangkok t shirt 20 years ago! So yeah it seems likes its a totally dated idea. Some folks perhaps still ascribe to that setup, however, I dont know anyone who still does.
Overall this place had average at best customer service and friendliness. I wasnt impressed by the folks at the table games or who were on the floor. I asked 3 different people where the hard rock cafe was, and the first two didnt know or have a clue. I happened to be with three young ladies who wanted to eat there as their was a yelp check in deal. However unbeknownst to all of us, it was in a separate building. Sadly it took a while (3rd staff member) to tell us where the place was.
On top of that the table staff wasnt nearly half as friendly or outgoing as I normally find. This was at roulette and craps. Too bad since those are two of my favorite games and I wanted to gamble a bit. But when there is a lousy mood coming from the staff... who wants to spend money to be around that kinda crap.
It was clean. They had all the standard games and lots o slots. They have a giant hotel as well. But honestly, I couldnt care less and wont be back unless there is something special happening here that I HAVE to attend. My honest to goodness reaction is that it isnt worth 3 stars but i couldnt find anything specific to lower the grade on it for. It is just meh to the nth degree.Recommended for:

Good value at $50 (midweek) to $100 (weekend). Rooms are clean and comfortable. Strip is a mile away (under 10 by taxi) or take the HRH shuttle. Restaurants inside HRH are all pretty expensive for food, as has become more common for everything around the strip. Convent that there is a CVS right across the street if you want to buy water, drinks, snacks for your room instead of outrageous mini bar costs ($8.50 for a medium bottle of water).

I had a lot of fun at this hotel. The pool was amazing, the clubs a lot of fun, and the lobby bar made a great first impression. Haven't been here in awhile...think that must change.Recommended for:

Stayed here for one at the end of a trip, and I was really impressed with it. Maybe it's just because we were coming from Flamingo, but the whole place (rooms, halls, casino floor) seemed to be in immaculate condition. The vibe throughout the place is really cool, and it somehow manages to avoid feeling kitschy despite the rock memorabilia everywhere. It loses a star for being a bit of a hike from The Strip (short cab ride, but expect to wait forever if a concert just let out) and because the casino is very small.

Even if you don't stay here, music lovers should visit the Hard Rock while in Vegas. The collection of memorabilia - e.g. Prince's purple jumpsuit - that lines the lobby walls is impressive in itself. Add several fun, interesting bars and the chance to see a great show, and you've got an evening's entertainment lined up.Recommended for:

Best pool scene in Vegas. Lots of cool people hanging out. The hotel itself is nice - rooms are good sized, clean and nicely done. Its a big hotel but not so crazy as the MGM or the other mega-hotels.Recommended for:

The reason to go here is for their pool parties. Call to check when they are on, but this is a great daytime activity for those tired of gambling. There is a DJ, drinks, and happening hipsters partying everywhere.Recommended for:

Very comtemporary & glam-chic! The rooms are definitely very hip & just makes you feel like a rockstar! I definitely enjoyed my stay at the Hard Rock Hotel when I was in Vegas. They offer many gambling options if you're into that along with different restaurant/eateries, shops & a very fun nightclub called Vanity. My only gripe is that the location of the Hard Rock is a bit further from the MainStrip so it would a pretty long walk or just get on a shuttle to get there.Recommended for:
