Basically a shopping area. Traffic is difficult. Spent a long time trying to find an ATM. Fairly inoffensive but apart from the Opera House there's not much to it.

Breath-taking interior to what is otherwise a rather innocuous looking building. The rotunda and great hall especially will stay with you and the spiel on the robing room is fun.

Stayed here in 2007 as they let their student rooms out to tourists. Beautiful campus in suburban area.

Also a church of Ireland cathedral but far more austere than Christchurch in dub line. Reminds me of muensters on the continent.

What to say? Formally known as 'The Royal Mile', it's a chilling experience. Only part of Belfast which made me wonder if the Troubles are really over. The burnt out city blocks for bonfires and the competing murals were surprising, but there's still not the tension of Londonderry/Derry about it.

A lot of shoppes to visit. Once all the younger kids get out of school it becomes packed. Wasn't an issue for me but I understand for some people it can be annoying.

Thanks to Joe for a most fascinating couple of hours going around the mural areas, and stopping and explaining each and every one in detail. The tour started with the history of the lead up to the troubles, and then a full tour of both 'sides of the fence'. This was the highlight of my trip to Ireland. Joe was ...

Yes, the Titanic was built in Belfast. They won't let you forget it. But the redeveloped docklands are an interesting experiment in urban renewal. Worth a few hours.

Really emotional visuals and information once inside. It's really beautiful and you understand a little more than if you were to just watch the movie. I really enjoyed myself.

The fact that I've been here and don't remember much about it means you can probably safely give it a pass. Basically a commercial venture.
