It's a good value for the strip - a nice casino and clean, decent rooms. There's nothing particularly luxurious or special by way of the rooms, but with the hotel's proximity on the strip (right in the middle, perfect walking distance to other attractions) it works in a pinch.

Back in the day I used to work for a gaming company. I had told my manager that I was heading out to Vegas and he suggested a place. I told him that if I was traveling alone that would have been great but I needed a place on the cheap and somewhere with thick walls to accommodate.. erm a small gathering. And he thought about it and then told me that he had a the perfect place in mind.
    Harrah’s
Don’t know where Harrah’s is? Imagine yourself on the strip. Now imagine yourself looking at Cesars. Now look across the street from there and you will have found Harrahs. And if you look back to Ceasars.. you will now have glanced upon where I got drunk at and eventually got kicked out of. But that is another story all together.. which appears to be a running theme for me.
And if you get drunk as much as I do.. all the Egyptian cotton sheets, marble bath tubs, etc etc etc opulence decadence etc…. none of that really matters when all I want to do is sleep and hide from the sun and heat. At least not while drunk. With that being I recall there being a bed.. maybe 2 queen sized beds. And there was definitely a tub which I slept in for a while.. erm, I mean bathed in. Ultimately it fit my needs to the T.
    ;D

You don't come to Vegas to stay in the hotel. They make pretty sure you are not too comfortable from the lack of wi-fi to the sub-par mini-bar but then again- when rooms are under $50 a night, it's hard to complain. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. Location is prime so I'd stay here again.

Very good 3 star in the middle of the strip! and a great buffet for $25.

Harrah's is one of the better deals on the Strip - mid-priced range, but being able to walk out onto the Strip and get anywhere without taking your car makes it totally worth it. And you don't have to break the bank staying at the Venetian or Caesar's Palace. They have a pretty good casino, but I especially liked it because it was so near Casino Royale, which has the best craps tables on the Strip. Besides that, the beds were clean and surprisingly comfortable, the rooms bigger than I expected, and the views weren't bad.

Below average place to stay on the strip. Beds were not comfortable at all and the rooms are not kept up. One positive about this place is the location. With so many other options on the strip the driving factor to come here would be to get a really inexpensive room.

Not the most comfortable beds but a good option to stay if you wanna be on the strip. You're close to everything but not spending as much.

An older hotel on the strip, but more decent priced option if you want to be close to all the attractions!

The rooms are nice but nothing amazing. The casino has a fun vibe. All the dealers are fun to play with and the make you feel welcome no madder how much your playing. The waiters come by all the time to check on you. This is just a fun place to be in vegas.

Not a bad hotel for $23/night. The rooms are clean and updated and there is a 24-hour Starbucks in the lobby.

Harrah's is a good place to stay when on the strip. Though it is not as nice as a couple of the other sister hotels, this place is good. Rooms are great and staff is great. Could do a little better on places to eat but, overall we are always happy here. Get a total rewards card and you will start getting comps.

The last review is so hilarious. The casinos do tend to take money, that's generally what they are designed to do unless you're a little smarter like some people and play black jack which has a better chance of you actually walking away with some money.

But gambling aside, Harrah's is, to me, a classic, but now it's become quite old. I still remember the first time my family went to Las Vegas and I was too young to be on the floor, I remember wandering about the casino when the security wasn't watching but mostly being confined to my room after hours when the adults were doing 21+ stuff.

The room didn't give me insanely great impressions, but then again I was younger so I didn't know much about hotels and what they were supposed to be like. I just remember the window was inadequate because I loved big windows and this was a far cry from what I was used to.

I like that they are very accommodating, we needed a rollaway bed but I also remember it being quite more expensive than I think its worth.

I think its a solid 3 star hotel, where you get what you pay for, and nothing more, but nothing less.

old, not bad. Casino floor is pretty small. The interior decor makes me feel like im stepping into the past. Not sure if thats a good or bad thing. Still, better than tropicana

Located on The Las Vegas Strip, this is a fun moderately priced hotel casino. Not the swankiest place in Las Vegas, but it is a lot of fun. there is always something going on there. They have a good variety of restaurants. I say if you are walking up the strip, stop in and check it out. Live it up you are in Las Vegas for cryin’ out loud!

Harrah's is a fun spot with a vibrant Mardi Gras theme and an enviable location on the Vegas Strip. The hotel is an excellent option for younger, budget-conscious visitors who will enjoy the colorful party-time atmosphere. On our visit to Harrah's, we checked in on an ultra-hot summer day, and though the reception line was long, we were greeted with free bottles of cold water, which was nice. We were also given free passes to a comedy show, although we ended up being unable to go to it. There are numerous bars and lounges in this establishment, as well as a happening casino. Or, if you're looking to relax on your vacation, try the spa or the pool. The rooftop pool is small but quiet and peaceful with nice lounge chairs and cabanas surrounding it. So while Harrah's is not the most glamorous place to stay in Vegas, it will certainly make for an enjoyable vacation.

Again, OK if you are not going to get the suites. Suites are good but basic rooms are just basic.

we gambled our last $30 and raised it to $200..we treated ourselves to a room with a proper bed and shower compared to the back of the van we were sleeping in for the past 2 weeks. A few hotels recommended Harrahs as they often have good deal on. Our luck wasn't over as when we got the keys to the room we realised it was for the penthouse suite!! MAGIC!!
