    La Bodeguita Del Medio

    11 reviews

La Bodeguita Del Medio is the spot where Ernest Hemingway went for mojitos when he was in Cuba. It's a small bar in a cute alley close to the Catedral and it is most definitely a must for any tourist visiting La Habana. Live bands often play there and the ambiance is festive. Great memories!

    Floridita (El)

    10 reviews

El Floridita is the spot where Ernest Hemingway had his daiquiris when he was living in Cuba. A nice bar/restaurant where of course they serve the best Daiquiris in Cuba. A must on every tourist's list when visiting Habana.

    Cocina de Lilliam (La)

It was good, and a cool outdoor garden to eat, but it's definitely out of the way, and after some of our other meals, this one didn't really stack up

    Cafe Laurent

    2 reviews

Much like the other best restaurants in Havana, they are in someone's home, or what at least looks like it was at one point. This is in a high rise apartment building, and the penthouse is the restaurant. Really high end food. One of our favorite meals

Duck into this converted private dining room (the house is still private) for some of the most authentic food in Havana. The US is generally thought to have better Cuban food than Cuba, but you won't feel that way at Palladar. Lots of locals were hanging out with the staff, lending a casual, welcoming feel to the place.

Great beans and plantains. Nice atmosphere.

Once upon a time there used to be 26 different flavors on the menu of this ice cream place. The last time I was there I had to wait in line for 4 hours and the only flavor they had for Cubans was vanilla. The Chocolate and Strawberry were reserved for tourist only.

    Sociedad Asturiana Castropol

    1 review

My favorite place to eat in Havana. Right on the Malecon, the top level allows you to sit outside on the balcony with a great view or inside with airconditioning. Upstairs has seafood, and more international cuisine, while downstairs there is pizza, pasta, and grill. Great service, and good prices for the value.

    Restaurant Los Nardos

Great food right on the prado by el capitlio nacional. The entrance is deceptive, but inside in very nice. Great service, and great prices. expecially for such high quality food. Got to wear sleeves to enter though (learned the hard way).

Amazing Paladar, in what looks like a beautiful, but broken down old building.. you go upstairs and its a stunning old room turned into a family restaurant. Was one of our favorites in Havana

    Paladar La Esperanza

    1 review

The most particular experience to have in Cuba is to eat at its Paladares, privately owned restaurants in Cuban homes. These are the only places where you'll find chef like dishes that you won't find in the Cuban stores. And La Esperanza is perhaps Havana's best one. Not an ordinary Cuban home by any means, the interior of the house ...

    Taberna de la Muralla

Nice place to sit, right ont he plaza, and the place itself is quite nice. The beer however is not good, and the menu is limited and touristy. The service when we were there was horrible.

    El Asturianito

I really liked the Ropa Vieja here (although a bit salty). I recommend the resturant, but I think Los Nardos on the first floor of the same building is probably the better choice. Prices are good though.

    Monguito Restaurant

Great food in a little hole in the wall across the street from the entrance to the Havana Libre hotel. Great big tasty portions of delicious Cuban food. Just a couple tables inside though.
