Listed a top beach in the USA, this gold-sand beach at the foot of the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel is calm and protected by two black-lava points. Ala Moana Center is one of the largest open air malls in the States, and one of the busiest too. There are high end boutiques, department stores, local craft and made shops, food court, great restaurants, and bars. There's also a stage for daily performances and special events. A great place to shop, find souvenirs, hang out, and people watch.

    DFS Galleria Waikiki

330 Royal Hawaiian Avenue, Honolulu, HI

    5 reviews

DFS Galleria gets better and better. I remember when there wasn't anything significant here. Now it's one of my favorite stops in Waikiki, even if I never buy anything here (fancy stuff). The recent renovation leaves room for even more shops and floors. We actually got lost looking for the escalator back down!
