So I was on a quest to get a road bike and somewhat still am. This was one of the places that I stopped through while trying to make that happen.
It’s a nice shop in the middle of what is a quaint shopping area in Arcadia on the edge of Monrovia. You need to park on the street and may need to walk a block or two to get here. Its location is fairly accessible from the 210 on Huntington just east of Santa Anita.
Pro Tip: Do not look around before asking for assistance, you wont get any if that is the case.
They care mostly Cannondale bikes here. As we all know each shop is a distributor for one brand for the most part. They have a number of bikes on and under the racks for you to check out and potentially purchase. While looking around I was waiting for a store worker for about 20 minutes and I was second in line as someone else was waiting ahead of me. Consequently I didn’t get any answers to my questions as I could ask them. I finally got fed up and left.
However, while waiting I did speak to the bike mechanic for a bit and he offered a modicum of advise and it made me realize that the sales staff here was worthless…
They have a decent supply of options and styles of bikes. However, all brands are a bit different and this place was like all the rest. They have nice bikes and what seems like a good mechanic, but overall their Customer Service was severely lacking when I was here. Let alone I had cash in hand and was ready if I found the right bike, to purchase it right then.
Honestly I doubt I ever go back here again…
