Excellent Modern Mexican Cuisine, primarily seafood , but not exclusively and plenty of non seafood to choose from. The tacos here are awesome and better then most you're going to find. The scallops and tuna are top notch. Very good margaritas from basic flavors to some great variations like the smokey spicy one.

I love Hell's Kitchen. It doesn't have great architecture and it is a bit too close to Times Square for comfort, but you have to love the affordable dining, cozy bars, and proximity to Central Park. This is the place to eat before or after a show. 9th Ave is full of great food options and they are reasonable.

Description

Hell's Kitchen has long recovered from its reputation as a Manhattan slum to become a great residential neighborhood. Some folks in the area have tried to re-brand the neighborhood "Clinton," but locals are holding on to the "Hell's Kitchen" name. The area's apartment blocks and highrises are still a draw for actors, given the close proximity to the Theatre District and its mystique as a home to thespians. Hell's Kitchen has excellent casual dining, and enjoys culture and shopping opportunities provided by nearby Chelsea and Midtown.
