Key West parties hard, day and night. But when you've had too many daiquiris and laid in the sun until you're practically a raisin, you may want a break from the beach scene. Take a quirky tour of the house Ernest Hemingway once lived in, now filled with memorabilia, manuscripts and most famously, six-toed cats.

I think, you can't miss visit to the Hemingway House if you are in Key West. It's a must to see. There is about 40-50 cats living on the property and they are descendants of the Hemingway's cats. They have probably the best veterinarian care in the world. When I was there, the oldest cat was the oldest cat I've ever seen.

Peruse the property of the famous writer Ernest Hemingway while his six-toed cats lurk about. Be sure to take a tour to hear many hilarious and quirky stories about the local who threw parties and had a drink at the bar down the street daily. Check out the catwalk he built to keep people from his office.
