I felt as if I was stepping into another world and I quite enjoyed it. In the evening, a dimly lit courtyard quietly invites you to take to the oversized patio seating surrounding a fire pit and cuddle up. The server actually brought me a super comfortable blanket. This hidden little treasure is true Southwestern luxury. The Hermosa Inn whispers a calm tranquility that veils a history rich in culture and intrigue. The Hermosa Inn invokes a gentle harmony between nature and human intrigue; a balance of the old world and the new. As you find yourself captivated by the glow of the night sky, you decide to leave your day to day worries behind and savor this moment. Wine and dine at Lon’s for a savory meal; close your eyes and enjoy the peace and quiet. Nestled in the affluent Paradise Valley, this inn is not pretentious in the slightest. It just IS this good.

I chose this Boutique Hotel to slowy venture back in to reality after my holiday in Sedona. The look of it online had the same vibe as Sedona and it didn't disappoint. It was quaint and had that Southwest/Cowboy feel. My room had a fireplace with a lovely patio off of it. The grounds were a walking tour of the coolest art. Located in Paradise Valley. It was far enough from the madness and yet close enough to it all. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!

Walking into my room at the Hermosa Inn reminded me of staying in my aunt's casita in San Diego. That is exactly what the boutique property is going for. Not a ton of rooms on site but a relaxed calming southwest experience. Are you a foodie? Eat at Lon's. The onsite restaurant gathers the local crowd. I was blown away by the stylish twist on American cuisine. My dinner reminded me of eating in LA. As did the wine selection. I hate when I eat at a nice place and my experience is dampened by a stale short wine list. I was able to chose from a variety of cabs. The staff was great, they had plenty of local recommendations for activities. The hotel is near Camelback mountain, one of the most popular hiking spots in Phoenix!
