As bad as it gets. The Chevy Monza I received was the only automatic transmission car they had ( they have 5 total.) The transmission was shot and stalled when it was placed in gear. The brakes failed 100% within 4 miles of leaving the lot. The replacement car was just as bad, cracked windshield, broken radio, broken glove compartment latch, engine light on all the time, scraping brake pads. After getting 2 death traps from this location, I won't be renting Hertz for a while.

Old world efficiency... lots of duplicate paperwork, a dot matrix printer, credit card imprinters... Very slow going to check in/out. Being Hertz Gold has no advantage... you're all the same. There was a time share tout that became a bit annoying while waiting for a car. The shuttle from the airport to the rental place is 5 mins, but the wait for the shuttle can be 20 mins. The selection of cars are cheapy Chevys and a few others. The Chevy was all plastic inside with barely 15 inch wheels... felt a bit like a toy car at times. I'm a Hertz member, so would end up renting from them again. Be careful of the speed trap (headed north on hwy 200) just as you leave the rental place... saw a couple of cars pulled over.
