FABULOUS! Nicest place to walk in NYC - there are lounge chairs, a cool water wading area and phenomenal views of the Hudson River and the city. If you want a real treat - download the Bowery Boys walking tour podcast and listen to some really fun and interesting history while you stroll.

Hip boutique hotel in the heart of Chelsea, right across the street from the city's trendiest art galleries. The minimalist design stands out while the rooftop is where you can take in impressive skyline views of Manhattan. The pool area is ridiculously small, but all in all a cool spot to hang out. Every first Thursday of the month you ...

A good hotel with a heavy buzz. It's not the best deal, or anything close to it in NYC, as a better bargain can be found elsewhere. However, if money isn't an issue and you're looking for a nice place, with a great location and solid bars (especially on the rooftop, which is awesome), this is the best bet.

I LOVE the Ace Hotel. I spent the day at a music conference being held there and felt immersed in a culture of creativity from the people I meet there to the hotel's clever hipster decor. There were so many people there working on their lap tops in the lobby. With Stumptown Coffee in the lobby it's a remote workers ...

The rooftop bar at the Gansevoort has really amazing views of the city, and while chic, is not stuffy. It's got a pool and restaurant, too. Definitely a luxurious New York experience.

The new hot hotel (and 5-star restaurant) in NYC. Super glamourous and top-notch service. The truffle chicken is a famous dish that all of the locals are talking about. The decor of this hotel is impeccable... incredibly luxurious and oozing super chic glam.

My girlfriend and I really loved staying at Yotel in NYC, we thought the room had everything we needed, and the size wast ever much of a worry. We did find ourselves walking plenty to get around, as it's a bit far east of Manhattan. The club was alright as well, but a bit quiet while we were there.

I've walked past this art deco hotel for years without ever setting foot inside. On a recent work trip to NYC, I stayed here and finally figured out what it's all about. Recently renovated, the beds are super comfortable and the rooms have the same cool art deco feel as the lobby. The location, steps away from the A train ...

Just two years old, this Hilton hotel tries very hard to incorporate the history of the garment district into its d├ęcor and atmosphere. The front desk, for example, is reminiscent of a cutting room table, with the desks held up by silver-plated spools of thread, buttons strewn across the counter, and artwork that mimics fabric prints. The rooms as well ...

You're right in the middle of Chelsea and a short walk away from a lot of great neighborhoods.
