Though this is an older hotel, they’ve done a great job with updates. I loved walking into the entry way with its massive ceilings and brightly colored furniture. It felt very majestic. There’s plenty of room in the lounge area to find your own private workspace or enjoy a bite to eat. The bedrooms are pretty standard but loved the Keurig coffee maker, mini microwave and fridge to cut down on the cost of dining out. My favorite part of this hotel was the fitness room. It has cedar lined, vaulted ceilings and lots of machines and equipment. The pool is a bit small but it’s fine for cooling off in the Texas heat. Overall, I’d say this is a great option for family and business travelers.Recommended for:

As the name states, there are flower themes throughout this hotel. I enjoyed the ice cold water with lemon offered as I walked in. It’s hot in Dallas. The staff was a bit short with me, but by no means rude; they were quite busy. This hotel has many conference rooms, so it seems geared for doing business. It is centrally located 5-10 minutes from downtown, depending on traffic. There is free WiFi, microwave and fridge in the rooms, but no free breakfast. All meals must be paid for. Room service is available, which is nice when working late. There is a lovely, simple, large outdoor pool area, fenced in for guest privacy.Recommended for:

This is a decent hotel, which is neither a criticism nor a compliment. It's very clean, comfortable, and the staff was nice to me. Other than that, it just seems like another hotel. However, it does have a few quirks that are worth noting. For one, it's right on the highway, which means it has easy access to the rest of the city. It's not near anything exciting, though, so it means you'll have to take a cab. But the inside is kind of fun, especially for kids. It's not too spectacular, but the elevator ride up to the top is worth it. The entire hotel can be seen from the glass elevator, which I know (having once been a child) the kids will love.Recommended for:

It’s easy to feel like once you’ve seen one location of a chain, you’ve seen them all but the Hilton Garden Inn Market Center sets itself apart. Sliding glass doors adorned with flowers read “welcome to the garden” before you meet the grand, atrium-style entry. A flora motif continues throughout the decor and is reflected in the color palettes and accent materials. As to be expected, there is plenty of meeting space available, and the rooms are definitely up to par. A nice feature is the option to “choose your snooze” where you can manually select the firmness of your bed. Another bonus is that, the fitness center is surprisingly chic. It's a moderate size with a respectable amount of equipment, but the pitched, wood ceilings give the spot a sauna look.Recommended for:
