I like this hotel because of its modern design and location (at KL Central Station). It is not only perfect for business trip but also suitable for family vacation as the pool is relatively large.

The Hilton, like Le Meridien next door, is just 28 minutes to the airport using KL Central Station, so this is a good hotel for international business people flying in and out of the city. Although, I wouldn't mind staying here on vacation either. The pool (shared with Le Meridien) has a kids' slide and has a serious view of the city because it's up on the 8th floor of the building. I think The Hilton/Le Meridien pool and the one at The Mandarin Oriental, are the two best pools with views in the city. The executive lounge also has a real view. You can see all of Lake Garden, (the park that contains an orchid garden, a bird park, The National Mosque, and The National Museum.) The business facilities, like conference rooms and business center are some of the best I've seen--chic but also comfortable. The concierge has ideas about where to go out, although, unless they're going to Brickfields (Little India) guests probably cab it to go out at night because the freeway prevents a walk from being very scenic. Nothing is that far away in Kuala Lumpur so unless it's rush hour, cab rides aren't that far or even expensive. There's also a club in the hotel that hosts different bands and draws an audience from outside the hotel.

This hilton is one of the safest location to be at if you are afraid of bombs because before even going into the lobby they actually scan your car and check your car bonnet. The restaurant is very nice but i was wondering why is it that there is a stairs which is not partitioned out and you can walk past the stairs and go to the other sections in the same restaurant. The swimming pool is really awesome because of the view. The rooms are really cozy but it's like all packed in one place without much room to walkabout in the place. It is a good place to stay if you just landed from the airport and took the public transport to Kuala Lumpur Sentral. The staff there are not so friendly because as i walked into the lobby someone actually asked me if i am visiting.

The Hilton is an excellent place to stay while in KL. It's conveniently located so you can get almost anywhere on foot which is a big plus because the traffic can get pretty gnarly in KL.

The rooms and amenities are high quality and a lot nicer than a standard Hilton that you might find in the US. It's clean, modern, and the staff is just awesome.

If you need a place to stay in KL for a few days ... I'd highly recommend the Hilton.
