Pretty average in overall experience, though I did enjoy the bit of a view we could see from our room. There is no free parking in the area, so you're stuck with their valet service. You come in on the basement level and have to go upstairs for the main lobby area with restaurant, check-in, etc. The room itself was good and I enjoyed the floor to ceiling windows.

Very disappointing for a Hilton. This hotel feels more like a crowded airport terminal than a refuge of relaxation. There's a funky smell that pervades everywhere and the decor is in dire need of renovation. And, on the top of it all, the location isn't so hot either. So, what's it got? An ok pool and a nice fitness facility. Not the worst hotel in Miami for sure, but a far cry from a personal favorite.

Apparently a lot of people stay here before or after their cruise out of the Miami port, a 5-minute drive away. But what’s also good to know is that South Beach is just 10 minutes away—a short drive over the Venetian or MacArthur Causeway. There’s also a Metromover stop and a bus depot nearby, making it easy to get to most places around the city. The lobby was busy when I visited, as there was a lot of corporate business going on at the hotel. But to chill out and enjoy the sunshine you just have to step out onto the pool deck on the 8th floor. Just remember to bring the SPF—there’s no shade, just expansive city skyline views. To get the best views from your room, ask for a junior corner suite, although all rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows for optimal sunshine. Six of the hotel’s eight presidential suites come with large terraces but you can also enjoy the outdoors on the lobby bar patio.

I was here for a wedding so I saw a great deal of the hotel all weekend. I'm giving this place 4 stars mostly because of the pool and the fitness center (both are above average and have nice views). Aside from that the hotel itself is nice and has pretty nice views overall, especially if your room faces the water. -1 star due to the terribly thin (and I mean THIN) walls. I lost an entire night's sleep thanks to a coked-out partying 'rockstar' next door. After he was kicked out the rest of the stay was fine. :-) South Beach is about a 10-minute drive from the hotel so you're not too far away from nightlife.
