The Hilton is wonderfully light and airy inside, done out in art deco style, with amazing views of Mount Namsan from various spots in the hotel and many of the rooms. The staff were really helpful and friendly and I liked all the facilities too. The pool was nice and bright, not tucked away underground like many hotel pools in Korea are. The spa lobby (I didn't see inside) had a lovely vibe. The Orangerie, were breakfast was temporarily being served, was also flooded with light and there was a restaurant with an outdoor area and beautiful garden feature. Some parts of the hotel were under refurbishment, so it will be interesting to see what further improvements are made.

The rooms themselves were large and spacious, though there was a big difference between the deluxe and premium rooms. The premium rooms had been refurbished, whereas the deluxe were looking a bit dated.

I’m typically not a fan of huge hotels, but this one is actually quite lovely. The lobby is enormous and busy, but the rest of the hotel is surprisingly calm. Many guest rooms have undergone a renovation in the past two years. The rooms above the 14th floor have not, but their condition is still well maintained and modern. The décor is understated and chic. Even the hallways, with their red, grey and white carpets, dark wood walls and soft lighting are pleasing to the eye. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Seoul Station, Myeong-dong and Namdaemun (for all you shoppers), plus there are free shuttles to the airport and other neighborhoods in the city, like Itaewon. The lounge for the executive floors has fantastic city views and the 18-meter pool is awesome. There’s even a casino on the premises! Plus, the staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful, which you don’t always find in a hotel this large.

As far as massive Hilton hotel complexes are concerned, this place really is par for the course. The facilities are beautiful, having undergone a ton of updates and construction for the last few years (construction will be completely finished by the end of the summer), and it's easy to see why there were high-end travelers from all over the world in the lobby. The place has everything one could want: A fitness center, spacious clean rooms, a nice restaurant (which is currently under construction), and an attached spa and casino. The Seven Luck casino is one of the more popular ones with travelers in Korea, so having it attached to the hotel is a definite perk for those who like to gamble. Unlike some of the swankier places on the east side of Seoul or in Gangnam, this hotel is right in the heart the city, close to Namdaemun, where you can try a bunch of different Korean food, and Myeongdong, where you can join the masses and shop your heart out!

The Hilton Millennium Seoul offers everything one would associate with a world class hotel giant. It's modern, elegant, and the guests stroll around the vaulted, well-lit public areas of the hotel with the air of people whose every needs are being easily met.
The location is fantastic, close to the historic Namdeamun Market, the ultra hip shopping and entertainment mecca of Myeongdong, and unique in Seoul is it's connection to the adjacent casino. But don't head for the craps table with the expectation of getting to know the locals, as gambling is illegal for Korean Nationals and the Casino exists strictly for foreign guests.
The views of the city and of Namsan Mountain and Tower are lovely, especially at night when the tower is lit in a rainbow of colour. The staff bustle about in a seemingly endless frenzy of activity, but will always stop graciously to help with any questions or needs of the guests.
All this being said, it's not really my kind of hotel. Admittedly, I prefer hotels with more personal touch, and though the hotel is grand and oozes class, there are really no shining or exciting unique features to make it stand above it's peers within the luxury class. But for location, service (and for the lovely fitness center and pool), I'm sure no one staying here could have a serious complaint.
