Near the lobby, there’s a large glass case filled with sparkling awards that this hotel has won over the years—and I can see how they earned them. As I walked up to the front desk, a man named Vincent greeted me with a huge smile and enthusiastically welcomed me to the Hilton. I immediately felt relaxed and at ease, despite the fact that they’re going through a major renovation on the lobby right now, at the suggestion of their guests. I honestly couldn’t even tell they were doing construction because it’s hidden behind temporary walls that they’ve built and the entire staff seemed stress free. This is by far my favorite Hilton in Orlando because it has a lazy river where you can float around the huge pool in a tube. There’s also a waterslide that kids would love, and a poolside bar with soft seating and a fire pit if you stay during the cooler months (the pool is heated during the winter).

This is without a doubt one of the best resorts in the entire Disney area. Unlike most resorts, which inevitably appeal to one age group or another, it's great for family members of all ages. The long, winding boardwalks surrounding a pristine lake are ideal for couples to relax and stroll hand-in-hand. And the gorgeous pool area, which is bustling with activities, games, and upbeat music, is perfect for kids and adults alike. I found that the most interesting accommodation, however, was the large recreation room near the lobby, equipped with plush couches and pool tables. Each time I walked past this room, I saw a large number of teenagers hanging out, happily talking and laughing. I found this remarkable because teens tend to be (stereotypically) difficult to please. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone, but especially to families traveling with a variety of ages in their group.

I have been to full waterparks that are not as cool as the pool at Hilton Bonnet Creek. It was absolutely utopian – waterslides, bridges, fountains, hot tubs, a movie screen, and a giant lazy river. And this is all in a hotel pool, ladies and gentlemen! The interior itself is just as stunning, with innovative décor and various art installations to catch the eye. There is an entire candy wall downstairs, which is exactly what it sounds like. The rooms all have incredible views, but the “Disney view” is especially memorable. It is as beautiful as a painting, and you can even see the rides and the famous hot air balloon rising above Downtown Disney. But honestly, they had me at “candy wall.”

The Hilton Bonnet Creek is a wonderful place to stay, full of an inviting, warm energy and interesting things to see. From the sushi bar to the spacious main lobby lounge, a smiling staff is ready to help with all of your vacation needs. If sushi isn't your thing then try the hotels delicious signature Italian Restaurant complete with exquisite chalk art around every corner. After dinner you can lounge outside by the hotels immaculate swimming pool, or if you prefer you can relax by the one of the inviting fire pits while looking at the stars and sipping on a cold beverage. This hotel is definitely one of Orlando's best kept secrets that deserves to be exploited!
