I have only come to use the spa but had a great resort experience in addition to a wonderful treatment. The pool is wonderful and on the bay. It does get busy though.

Tons of family activities right on the bay. Also right next to Mission Bay Park, and super easy access to all the beaches and downtown.

In fact this spot, as it sits on the East side of Sea World, allows you to avoid crazy beach traffic and DUI checkpoints when you're headed to other great areas of San Diego... like La Jolla!

This is a nice place to stay if you are looking to be in the Mission Beach area- a good location basically in the middle of La Jolla and Downtown. The hotel is pretty new and very high class, with a great pool and lounging area. Be aware that this is not on a beach, but on the bay, which is not swimmer friendly. If you are there for the water sports then you are in prime local- but if you are looking to be beach side, head to alternative La Jolla, Del Mar, or Pacific Beach options.

Attending a conference here and it's been great. Love the lunch break by the bay!
