If you bid on Santa Clara area hotels on Priceline, chances are that you can get a room here for less than $90. Free parking, but not free WiFi (except in the downstairs lobby). If you're flying into/out of San Jose airport and have a car, it's a convenient overnight stop before or after your flight. Not a lot going on nearby, however, except for Great America amusement park.Recommended for:Business Travelers

This is an excellent hotel, especially for members who have access to the executive lounge. The staff at the front desk and in the lounge are fantastic. They are always so helpful and really fun to talk to. In the lounge, you get a nice breakfast spread in the morning, then some finger foods at night.
Some of the rooms have window seats with cushions - great for sitting on to read or gaze out at Great America or the new 49er stadium being built. There isn't much in the area though, so you'll want to have a car to drive to restaurants and shops.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a company Xmas party that was hosted in one of their banquet rooms downstairs. Although I live in San Jose, I opted to stay overnight because of the drinking I knew would ensue before, during, and after the party. What really compelled me to stay over was the fact that they have an indoor and outdoor pool for guests to use during their stay. The location is amazing too, as you overlook Great America and their winter wonderland theme event that happens every winter. I stayed on the 4th floor and was able to see the going-ons at the park, as well as the new 49er stadium that is currently being built. I can imagine that once the stadium is done, this hilton will be getting a LOT of business.
In terms of the banquet food, very mediocre and nothing special. They served their version of filet mignon, with a cheese dressing covering the whole thing. The main course was really unappetizing, although the spinach salad was great and so was their dessert. Nothing to really rave or rant about.
Overall, this is a nice hotel with nice amenities. I had a really good time here! Clean facilities and good service.

Pretty property catering to corporate meetings & conventions that's next to Great America amusement park. Has all the amenities and services of a full service property. Minus one star bc the bed sucks and the pool is small. The area is very commercial - mainly high tech companies. Not a lot of shopping, restaurants & entertainment.
