The Hilton has gorgeous rooms with great views no matter where your room is. I was checking in for a conference so the conference rate included free-wifi and a free upgrade to a King Room.
The room was huge with a great skyline view. Desk, bed, sitting chair were all nicely spaced out.
The best feature for all guests is the panoramic elevators overlooking University Avenue. The elevators face westwards but it's fun to watch the ascent and descent parallel to the lights of the Canada Life building.
Everything is well kept, even the gym, and the staff are amazingly friendly. Conveniently located near all the major tourist attractions in TO. Top notch.

It's hard to wax poetically about a city center hotel, but the Hilton Toronto is the epitome of everything you would want in a downtown hotel: A staff so friendly you'd think they were Canadian. Spacious ad quiet rooms. Comfy beds and good pillows. Good water pressure. A groovy lounge and restaurant. And, if you're staying on a club floor, free continental breakfast and evening snacks in the Club Lounge. On the 32nd floor, with a I'd-pay-good-money-for-this-view view. Parking's expensive as all get out, but it's in the middle of everything, so I'd suggest using public transport, taxis and feet to get around.Recommended for:

My home away from home. Very nice and since the renovations, even nicer. The Gym is very small, and for people that are claustrophobic do not suggest going there! No windows, and air can be stuffy. Also it is not very well equiped; but then it is a hotel and not a full fledged gym. The pool area is very nice, however they took out the hot tub and replaced it with a lounge chairs. Not as welcoming I find, however the pool itself is. It is half inside and half out side, and on a winter night, when lit, you can see the steam lifting off. Really nice :). The rooms are very nice and simple as well. Beds very confortable and providing you request a room away from the elevator, normally very quiet.Recommended for:

This is a nice medium size hotel in a good location. Typical Hilton breakfast and rooms with an inside/outside pool. The executive room was one of the better ones we have encountered. The subway and the underground are very close. Parking is not cheap.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathroom my parents had when staying there was beautifully appointed. The view is decent but not spectacular. Staff are courteous. I've attended a conference here as well, and the irritating thing is that there is no wireless internet available for attendees. Considering the cost of the conference, they should be able to provide free wi-fi. Actually, same goes with the room. They didn't have free wi-fi included, which to me is an outrage these days.
