Yet another incredible Waikiki gem, transformed into a Hilton property several years ago after a major renovation and still somehow under the radar. If I were a business traveler coming to Honolulu and could “do it up right,” this is where I’d stay. The interior is grand and elegant, with a completely hip and stylish bar scene off to the side of the lobby. Notably, the pop-art restaurant MAC 24-7 is here—an around-the-clock restaurant nationally featured on “Man vs. Food” (and the dishes are actually really delicious—not a greasy mess!). You can order food from the restaurant up to your room at any time. Since the hotel is very tall, many of the guest rooms have stellar views of the ocean, mountains or Diamond Head. Plus, the décor is classic chic with a modern, playful edge. The beach is just a block away.

A decent Hilton hotel close to Waikiki Beach, about a 5 minute brisk walk. The room was fairly nice. I liked the large shower and the amount of counter space around the sink in the bathroom, along with the Peter Thomas Roth toiletries. The bed was very comfortable, too. I slept soundly every night. MAC 24/7 restaurant in the lobby is open literally 24/7 and was a great spot for late night eats or for happy hour at the bar. Beware! Valet only at $28 per day.

This hotel offers some really nice views of Waikiki Beach, the ocean, and some mountains off to the side (assuming you get a room high enough on the ocean-facing side). It's just a few blocks back from the main road where all the touristy action is, so it's close to a lot of things.
The executive lounge is in the lower level, below lobby level and it's a nice place to get snacks at night and breakfast in the morning. They have some computer stations with printers available for use too.

Hilton Waikiki Beach was a great place to stay. I was stuck here for five days absolutely too ill to do anything and it was quite a nice hotel to be stuck in. The beach was nearby, there were plenty of places to get food and the staff was friendly even if I was just being a hermit in my room for fear of contaminating anyone else.

Best hotel for the business traveler in Waikiki. You can avoid the noise and chaos of the bigger hotels, and still have easy access to the beach, shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. Very boutique in feel, with a great 24 hour restaurant, MAC 24-7, happy hour specials, and a terrific, friendly staff.Recommended for:Business Travelers

liked this hotel just fine. it is about one long block from the beach. but after walking through all the beachfront hotels, man those were NICE!
paid for a city view on expedia and when i asked for an upgrade at the front desk, the lady was kind enough to give me a room on the 18th floor with a view of the ocean - win! really appreciated that. room was clean and service was good.
my two minor complaints are:
i rented a car the last day to drive to the north shore and then returned it at the airport, so didnt actually need to park overnight as a guest for $30 or 8 hours for $10. so having eaten at MAC, wanted to validate the parking for $3 for 3 hours. the employee at MAC asked a million questions - are you a hotel guest? who was your server? what did you order? what what your room number? what was the room name under? and then called the front desk to confirm the name. it took ten minutes of interrogation for a measly validation! sheesh!
the pool on the 10th floor was SOOOO windy! i personally saw 3 (mine included) drinks flip and spill over! my pina colada spilled into the pool! they should have cup holders or at least weighted cups/mugs

My husband and I stayed at this hotel after completion of a 7-day NCL cruise. This hotel had a good vibe to it and was in a great location. We loved our room which was oceanfront although it set back a block therefore, not strictly on the beach. The room was clean and the staff was pleasant. We were able to park a rental car during our stay. We would stay there again.

A quiet, higher-end hotel with reasonable rates, a fantastic and colorful contemporary design and excellent service. The large, dazzling lobby has a bar in the corner and also houses the top-rated, Mac 24-7 restaurant with its striking, minimalist décor overlooking a beautifully landscaped green space with a gazebo. Always open and known for their variety of huge pancakes, but also offering all sorts of fare. The Hang 10 bar by the large pool/area serves snacks and light dishes. Wonderful fitness center. The entire hotel is sleek and elegant, including the spacious, updated room. The small lanai had amazing views of Diamond Head and the ocean, but unfortunately wasn’t private, with other lanais surrounding it. Complimentary internet access in public areas, with a charge for room service. Smartly detailed touches throughout, like charming seating areas on each floor by the elevators. There’s a sundries shop and Mac2Go features coffee and teas.

Rooms are decently sized, there's a pool outdoors with a bar, the cafe in the hotel serves food round the clock and it's tasty, if you don't feel like wandering far. The beach is easy to access, only 3 blocks away, and the room I was in had a view that looked out to the ocean.
