Hilton Waikiki Beach

2500 Kuhio Avenue, Honolulu, Oahu, HI 96815

14 reviews

This hotel offers some really nice views of Waikiki Beach, the ocean, and some mountains off to the side (assuming you get a room high enough on the ocean-facing side). It's just a few blocks back from the main road where all the touristy action is, so it's close to a lot of things. The executive lounge is in the ...

    10 reviews

I suggest to Look at VRBO and search for Kuhio Beach Park Condo, its a condominium building and being being rented by owners., it's alot cheaper than hotel and only 3 blocks to Waikiki beach and to strip. Best spot you can stay if you're staying in Oahu.... you wont need a car cause everything is just walking distance.

I love all the ABC Stores in general. It seems like they have the best pricing on things. There are ABC stores throughout all the Hawaiian islands. You can find a lot of great souvenirs here to take back home!

You'll have to search around inside the Hyatt Regency resort complex to find this clothing, jewelry and seaside gifts boutique, but it's worth the effort. Owned by a Vietnamese immigrant fashion designer, the maxi dresses and blowsy skirts and tops are unique and handmade. They've even got aloha shirts for men, too.

Like Hawaiian Style Rentals and Tour’s website says, “Hawaii’s better on two wheels!” When on vacation, doing something fun like renting a bicycle, scooter or other vehicle is a really fun way to explore (especially on a tropical island like Hawaii!!). The great thing about Oahu is that it’s populated, but not a scary place to drive a scooter. Take ...

Excellent surfing lessons taught by Erik! This guy loves what he does and gives lots of good pointers. He will get you surfing!! The prices for lessons are really reasonable and better than any other surf school I found. If you want photos, make sure his photographer Ray is there for that session. You can review the photos after the ...

    Ala Wai Golf Course

0.25 mi from Hilton Waikiki Beach

    1 review

The Ala Wai Golf Course is located right in the heart of Honolulu, only a few seconds from central Waikiki. It's the most popular place to golf in town, and, although it does serve as a scenic and well maintained facility, the grounds here show the high traffic. Plenty of palm trees and flowering plumerias decorate the grounds, giving this ...

    Waikiki Community Center

Is it still possible to find a place away from the tourists in Waikiki? Yup. This aloha-filled community center offers fun, low-key classes in island arts and crafts, anything from lei making and hula dancing to learning the Hawaiian language. Some require advance sign-up, while others are casual drop-in classes. If you want to meet the locals without ever leaving ...

The relatively small size of this Museum might be seen like it's biggest downfall, but I think it's actually one of it's biggest draws. Let's face it, if you are in Waikiki and are trolling around for museums you might have chosen the wrong place to vacation. If you aren't taking advantage of the sun and sand, you needn't be ...

The Damien Museum is a small and unassuming location that tells the story of one of Hawaii's most famous residents ever. Officially recognized as a Saint in October of 2009, Father Damien spent more than sixteen years of his life caring for the unique needs of individuals suffering at government sanction leper colonies on Molokai. This praiseworthy individual became a ...

Hawaii's oceans are home to untold treasures that, without the help of an underwater breathing apparatus, are just outside the reach of most non-aquatic Hawaii visitors. Thankfully, Aqua zone offers one of the best beginner scuba programs on Oahu, in addition to a long list of tours and excursions that are promised to get you breathing underwater like a pro ...

Very nice and serene spa centrally located in Waikiki. The comfy chairs in the waiting area face out to Waikiki beach, so not much else is needed to make it look beautiful. I had a relaxing 50 minute poki salt scrub which made my skin nice and smooth and I took a nice steam shower afterwards. The technician was really ...

Unique shopping in a beautiful center. It's like walking through an old village full of windy roads and pretty lights. The shopping is passable, but the ambience is wonderful. There's a lot of local history here too. The King's Guards perform drill routines in full regalia on a schedule and there's a cool museum too.

Over one hundred years old, with an amazing architectural style, and crammed between skyscrapers and tourist traps, this haven of a church is nevertheless an impressive Waikiki attraction. I'm not normally a beach person, but I LOVED Hawaii beaches. While I usually don't mind crowds, I'm glad I lived there during the off-season (August-December). Because it's HAWAII. There are already so many people at Waikiki beach during the off-season, but there are an unearthly amount during the summer. Waikiki has pretty calm waters, so it's great for learning ...

I work here every summer as part of a kids program. The zoo is alright, but it's not very big, and there's nothing too crazy new or exciting about it. If you're interested in Hawaiian flora and fauna they have a few species too look at. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgable, though!

It doesn't have that much to see but what they do have is pretty cool. Very small compared to other aquariums. Great for kids. But since you are on an island the best way to see the sea life is to go out and find it considering you just need to step in the water to see it.
