If you're looking for a relaxing dive by the beach, want to escape the uber-trendy Los Angeles crowd (yet not stray too far from it...), and could really use a good burger right now, Hinano's is the place. This is my favorite little bar anywhere in the Greater Los Angeles area, but for the Venice beach crowd, Hinano's is what serves as the neighborhood bar - it's home. Just steps from the Venice Pier, Hinano's somehow pulls off a Tahitian-Pub fusion vibe. For many of West L.A.'s late night crowd, Hinano's is less of a destination & more of starting point to get the beer on before moving on to clubs and such. However, they regularly host great live music featuring local bands and occasionally even have a stand-up comedy night. But the best feature by far is the Hinano burger - a great slice of beef Nirvana that may clog your arteries, but won't kill your wallet. An easy walk from the beach, pier, boardwalk, Muscle Beach, and all the beach shops of Marina del Rey & Venice, Hinano's is centrally located to everything you might need to get to on foot. A Los Angeles bar that caters to a pedestrian lifestyle? You got. Who would have thought?
