When the word historic is right in the name of the place you are staying you know that it's going to have a classic feel. This stone house right on the centre of Queenstown is a beautiful place to stay, filled with antiques and all the decor you'd expect in a place such as this. The exterior is a stunning stone structure that looks like something right out of the Central Otago goldfields. Once inside you fast-forward in time to today and all the comforts of home are there to be found. Flat screen TV's, comfy beds and cosy surroundings. There are three different rooming options to sleep anywhere from two through to nine people so this place is well suited for couples, families or groups. Full kitchens for every apartment means that cooking in is an option and with spa pools included in every option too you know you'll head home refreshed from your stay here.

Situated up a short but steep 5 minute walk from Queenstown, the Stone House is one of the most beautiful looking old buildings you’ll find in town. But appearances are deceiving as inside all but the old stone fireplaces have been brought into modern times through a tasteful renovation. The beautiful, ample kitchen is sure to inspire those with culinary skills and the comfortable lounge is perfect for curling up after a big day of Queenstown adventures. There’s also a private deck backing out onto the yard where an outdoor hot tub is available for all guests to use. The only thing that would really top this place off would be a classic Queenstown lake view, but I guess you can’t always have everything!
