My stay at Holiday Inn was accidental, I ended up there because the room I was in another hotel flooded and I had to leave.
I did my reservation 30 minutes before I arrived, was super well treated, got a room upgrade once I got there and everything was wonderful.
The room was extremely clean and wonderful, i had pillows to choose from and plus it's as close as you can be from the main access ways to everywhere else.
I would definitely stay here again.Recommended for:Family Travelers

i've stayed here twice the first few times i came to SF. the main reason was that i didn't have a car and took the BART into the city from SFO airport. in that respect, it's very convenient for out of town travelers. the inside is perfectly fine and again what you'd expect for holiday inn and being in SF. it's somewhat dated but was adequately clean and quiet. i didn't eat here. in retrospect, having lived in the SF, i would be more careful about the location. i walked around at night to get food when i stayed here, prob not the best idea. the civic center can be sketchy and even dangerous at night if you don't know where you're going, so limit your pedestrian adventures for trips to the BART during daytime. the rooms and service otherwise were as advertised. a bit pricey, but it's hard to get a decent cheap hotel without being outside of the city.
