If you're staying for any significant length of time, reserve a suite. I'm pretty sure it was larger than my first studio apartment. It had a fully functioning kitchen. The other rooms are spacious as well, and I like the second sink over the refrigerator. Everything seemed so clean at this location, especially the open two story lobby. It had one of the few seating areas that I WANTED to sit in and get some work done, typically they're awkwardly located or minuscule- but not this one! You're right in Sandy Springs/Dunwoody, which is one of my favorite Atlanta neighborhoods. You can walk to MARTA and head straight into downtown, or you can take surface streets into Buckhead, depending on your agenda. The breakfast is complimentary, as is wireless internet. The rooms have flat screen TVs and this hotel has an outdoor pool that's not at ground level, which I love!Recommended for:

The Holiday Inn express at perimeter doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles but it's a more than adequate place to stay for anyone coming into town on business or with a large group of family or friends.
The rooms themselves include a lot of nice hardwood furniture -- the bed is a decent size and the bathroom is pretty nice but it's still lacking some of those more modern touches.
There is a fitness center but it's pretty small with only one or two cardio machines.
The Holiday Inn brand is known for their complimentary breakfast served every day and for anyone who is familiar with this chain and has stayed here before this location pretty much keeps in line with what you can expect from the well known chain.
With the mall just down the road and plenty of eating and shopping around its a good option.Recommended for:

I was greeted by a very nice and helpful staff at this Holiday Inn.
The room was a corner unit on one of the lower floors, and it was one of the largest floor areas in a hotel that I had ever seen, and was very open. It felt more like a large bedroom than a hotel room. Something that this hotel had that I’m not used to seeing in other hotels was a full on wardrobe, which opened up for hanging space and stored an ironing board and iron. There was also a huge work desk – the room was a little old and kind of poorly lit, though.
There’s a free breakfast each morning, and they even had a pancake maker. I’m willing to bet that kids would get a kick out of it. A parking deck around back made it easy to get in and out of.Recommended for:

When I visited, the hotel was trying out some new furniture in select rooms and they were looking for guest feedback. I liked the updated look, which included a long worktable, ideal for a business traveler. The new pieces took up less space and the tv was mounted to the wall, providing more leg room. Ask for a corner room, you will be impressed with the amount of space.
I was hoping that by the pool being located on a higher floor that I might see a spectacular view of Dunwoody, but no such luck. Apartment buildings, condos and the Hampton Inn is all I could see. Coffee is hot and free all day in the lobby, not to mention complimentary cookies are put out in the afternoon. I was met with a smiling face even before I walked in the door and that type of service continued throughout my visit.Recommended for:
