This hotel screams Sea World. The doors have little dolphins jumping of the peep holes, and even the colors in the lobby made me feel as if I were at the dolphin show. Being very Sea World oriented, you would think they would have a giant pool to practice your new found love for training Shamu. They have no such pool. The one they do have is accessible only by means of parking garage way, or if you want to run in your two piece out of the front of the hotel and around the back. I guess you can train Shamu when you go to the beach. The rooms are good sized and the lobby includes a spacious and inviting breakfast (which is included) area. Parking is easy and the lady at the front desk was extremely efficient and friendly.

This lovely location was more than I was expecting from a chain hotel, and certainly could do worse for this area. The woman at the front desk was very professional and helpful, and I enjoyed her command over the walkie-talkie. My room was modern and the white duvet covers it had always make me feel a little more comfortable in a hotel room. The dolphins on each door were a cute detail, especially since I’m sure a grip of families at the hotel come for its proximity to Sea World. They do have a basic gym near the lobby. The pool was a little awkward because you have to go down a back staircase to get to it, and then you find yourself next to the parking garage and the front of the hotel. Even if there wasn’t a pretty decent privacy fence around the pool, I guess we could just be like the dolphins and dip under the water to avoid the smog.Recommended for:
