Walking into this Holiday Inn in Midtown and looking a bit confused, I was greeted with a rather odd "What are you doing here?" rather than a perhaps more appropriate, "How can we help you?" I wasn't thrilled about the lack of hospitality, especially in the hospitality industry, but the good rates and tempting accommodations still led me to inquire about a room (which, consequently, fill up very early during the summer!). Guest rooms are pretty standard, and all have private bathrooms. A pool, fitness center, TVs, and many more perks are great benefits to the hotel! The lobby seems to be buzzing at almost all hours, which makes sense, considering the great seating options, reasonable drink prices at the bar, and nice skylight above. A parking garage is also right next door, which is convenient if you're renting a car for your visit. When in the area, be sure to check out some lesser known attractions such as a tour of the Hearst Tower at 57th St and 8th or eat at the Brooklyn Diner a few blocks east on 57th St.Recommended for:

If you have ever stayed at a Holiday Inn before, you won't be surprised by what you find. For newbies, it's a bit of a treat. It has all the things a guest could need or want: a bar lounge, a restaurant to eat at, a fitness center, a business area with computers and a pool. It would be pretty easy to just stay at the hotel because it really does have everything you and your family could need to entertain yourselves.
Even though you're close to all the action, the street that the Holiday Inn is on is relatively quiet so it'll be easy to relax and calm down after a full day of activities. Guest rooms are also equipped with a stereo, a desk, satellite and cable TV and a morning newspaper is sent to your room, which you don't see as often anymore these days.Recommended for:
