This is definitely the nicest and most convenient airport hotel I've stayed in. It's immediately across from baggage claim/departures. The indoor pool was a great welcome for our child. Decent breakfast is included, decent but over priced dinner. Wine is ridiculously over priced compared to the rest of Chile.Recommended for:

When I called to ask how to get to the hotel from the airport, the receptionist said, "you walk." Oh great, I thought. I'm gonna have to slog all the way through some hot parking lot with a bunch of crap. Well, I was wrong. This hotel is basically in the airport. You pick up your luggage, walk out the door, and it's immediately in front of you, not 30 yards away. This makes it an ideal place to stay if you're getting in late, leaving early, or even just have a layover of several hours. The rooms are nice and comfortable, and dead silent - you'd think you were far away from civilization, not smack in the middle of an international airport.Recommended for:

I think most people would agree with me when I say that what the Holiday Inn does best is a quality generic feel. No matter which Holiday Inn you are staying at in the world, most of the rooms feel the same. For me there is a sense of familiarity and security with this business model. With that said, the Holiday Inn can also do unique and interesting well too. Here they have a ultra modern architecture with some cool amenities, such as a modern pool with a very cool business center/bar. And the best amenity of them all, you can actually throw a rock OVER the hotel from the airport, in other words, it's super close for lay overs and a taxi ride will only cost you 20 dollars to downtown Santiago for the extra long lay overs.

I've styed at this hotel twice and it is very convenient for those early/late flights. If you are flying to Atacama, Easter Island, Punta Arenas or elsewhere and are taking an early morning flight this hotel is ideal. The rooms have sound proof windows and the hotel is literally steps away from the airport exit. You won't need a transfer!
