Okanagan Wine Region

Soooo many wineries to visit. The south Kelowna leg includes Summerhill (most visited), St Hubertus (cozy) and Cedar Creek (nice for lunch). The east side has 5 or 6 more small wineries that all have their own character. Across the lake is Mission Hill (largest and most spectacular), Quails Gate...

Rotary Beach Park

Nice beach best suited for families. Bathrooms, playground, water craft rentals. Late in the day you catch kite boarders on a breezy day.

Cabana Grille

Great food and fun. Best for adults, can be a little noisy for kids at times.

Hotel Eldorado

One of our favorite spots to have lunch is outside on the deck at the 'El'. Good food and lots to watch with all the boat traffic in and out at the main boat launch. The bar really hops in the evenings, mostly with the younger crowd.

Misson Creek Greenway

Entrance to the Greenway is just a couple blocks down Lakeshore. Lovely path along the creek to walk, jog, or bike. Go as far as you want, the trail winds 20+ km right through Kelowna to the hills east of the city. We start most days with a walk or jog a few kilometers down the greenway and back....

Gyro Beach Park

Probably Kelowna's most popular beach. Very large to accommodate the hundreds of people that visit here each nice day. Water craft rentals, concession stand, bathrooms. People watching is a favorite activity!
