Huggo's

Terrific food on a beach like terrace. Perfect place for lunch with the family or a night out as a couple.

Fish Hopper - Kailua-Kona

Delicious and well presented seafood dishes at an affordable price.

Genki Sushi USA Inc-Kona

Located in the commercial district in a strip mall, this franchised sushi bar is by far one of the best I have eaten at. There are many more expensive sushi places on the island that just doesn't compare. I think the secret is in the sauce. You be the judge....

Hapuna Beach Park

This is favorite white sand beach for the family. There are very little tree cover so be sure to bring umbrellas. They replaced the old yucky grills with clean ones if you're into bbqs. They now charge $5 for parking per car. This is the starting point for the Ironman 70.3....

Kiholo Bay

Fantastic snorkeling beach and turtle spotting.

Kahaluu Beach Park

This is a great training ground for young snorkelers and adults alike. There's still plenty of fish to see. The beach sand is gravelly and the entrance to the water is rocky so make sure to wear water shoes.

Pu‘uhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park

A fun and interesting museum located next to a nice snorkeling spot. I found the entry a bit difficult for little children, but for adult it should be fine.
