I love Hilton’s Homewood Suites. It offers all of the luxuries you’d hope for in a hotel stay while you’re on your trip; along with all of the comforts of home. There’s a full kitchen in the rooms equipped with pots, pans and utensils. A door separates the master bedroom from the living room and kitchen, making it really feel like an apartment. There’s an outdoor pool, a fully equipped 24-hour gym, and a laundry facility. They also offer complimentary breakfast and dinner! Their kitchen provides a different full-course dinner with sides and complimentary drinks, beer and wine every day of the week. Dinner is not provided on the weekends. As well, this location is tucked away from the highway in a nice tree-covered area.

It has all the comforts of home -- or at least most of them -- to make a long-term stay a little more relaxed. Their roomy dining and lobby area is decked out with an alter chandelier and some woodsy furniture that appeals to my outdoorsy side. Their friendly staff seems used to long stay customers, greeting a few of them by name. One guy has been there seven months so far! The pool is simple, and it has a nearby grill. You can pretty much entertain friends or colleagues here. They have free dinner and drinks Mon-Thurs to ease your (our your company's) expenses.

Hilton seems to never fail in giving a comfortable stay, friendly service, and beautiful interior design. When entering the lobby an impressive head of a deer sits up top a fire stove and each lamp shade is held up with antlers. A “country” feel nonetheless, it appears that every detail counts. The rooms are beautifully furnished and are designed to give each room its own essence. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, cupboards, and a roomy countertop. The living area feels like home, with a pull out couch, television set, framed with beautiful tall dark curtains. The bedroom is its own room connected to a bathroom in which the toilet and the bath have their own door. A dinner menu is also provided in each room and finding out that their cook is like family to them makes you feel at home.

There's something exceptionally cozy about this Homewood Suites location, tucked in a quiet corner of the Arboretum/Northwest Austin area. All of the common areas and private guestrooms (all suites) are roomy and feature plus, country style furnishings and decor. Complimentary meals are served daily (breakfast and lunch), but rooms are fully equipped with a large refrigerator, stove top, microwave and dining room table. (They even offer a complimentary grocery shopping service--wow.) Thanks to sofa and roll-away beds, rooms can accommodate large groups with children or even the family pet.
