    Sundowners Beach Bar

    6 reviews

Sundowners is a really cool, super low-key beach bar in Half Moon Bay. The place to go after a day of scuba diving to hang out with the locals and with tourists from all over. Good times!

On your way from the airport get your driver to stop in and pick up food, snacks and beverages for your stay. It has the best selection on the island and you drive right by it. The map doesn't show their Coxen Hole location where you will be stopping.

    Maya Site of Copan

    6 reviews

One of the most remarkable and picturesque Mayan complexes of ruins that, apparently, was abandoned in the early 10th century, but only excavated in the 19th century. Its decaying temples, plazas and terraces are a solid representation of Mayan architecture. The Hieroglyphic Stairway Plaza is particularly notable. The site is part of the UNESCO Heritage Sites.

    Octopus Dive School

    2 reviews

My son and his friends love diving with Octopus. Just a slow 2 min. walk down the beach from Casa Cowee. Smaller boats and less divers make the diving experience much more comfortable. Excellent Dive training and great for your first open water dive. They are excellent with younger kids which we have a lot of at Casa Cowee so ...

    Jade Seahorse Treetanic Bar

    3 reviews

Imagine a bar born out of the remains of a ship wreckage and perched in the trees of a Honduran jungle. Add the hundreds of mosaics dotting the bar in a design best described as Gaudi-esque, and you have the most original lounge in Central America. It really has to be seen to be believed. Treetanic is a popular hangout ...
