Their Honey Milk Tea was YUM!
Their Almost Milk Tea was YUM!
Their Taro Ice Cream was YUM!
Only problem is the drinks were WAY to sweet. Need to tell them to tone it down on the sugar pumps next time.

Dragged my bf here for some dessert. Interesting interior--feels like a library with wooden floors and high ceilings, fancy lighting, a bit dim. We were seated towards the entrance which was a problem in terms of service; the cafe runs deep, so waiters rarely came by. They have interesting sodas here. Tried and enjoyed the oogave watermelon cream soda; they gave us a frosted glass and the while bottle. The strawberry nutella toast was ok; get one to share since it gets to be a bit much after a while. The prices are low though!

Came here once to hang out with a friend. Lots of students come here to study and work. The food isnt the greatest but I love their drinks!! And its soooo cheap too. Also, you must order their taro ice cream. Very delicious. The ambiance is pretty laid back and they have lovely artwork hung up and they sell them too.

HONEY badger? Why are they called that if they're supposed to be the most nasty, crazy, and fearless animal of the wild??? :0
This place definitely played on that reference of "Honey Badger don't care and don't give a sh**" and it's hilarious!
We stopped by this place since I've had it bookmarked forever, and I was getting an oil change at the nearby Acura and wanted to bring our lunch over to eat while we wait. This was super close, so we decided to give it a try!
You'll have to park in the back, and walk through a small alley past the Candy Chef to get to it. Really dark inside, with the old style booths and study lamps that make me think of a library.
Our food that we go to go was the:
Cuban Roast Pork ($5.95)
Chicken Pesto Sandwich ($5.95)
Both of which had the "Honey Badger paw of approval" stamp next to their names.
We also got the Green Tea Soy Iced Latte that seemed to be a favorite too, so we sipped on that while we waited for our lunch. (Totally worth it)
It took like... 15 mins or so to get our food and we zipped outta there to get to the dealership. I love homestyle kettle chips and the ones that came with the sandwich had a solid crunch to them and didn't get soggy along the way. Really liked both sandwiches too but my bf liked the Cuban better for it's stronger taste. The Chicken Pesto was also good but it got soggy way too fast due to the pesto being spread RIGHT ON the bread :(
Decent prices for the amount of good food you get; worth to give it a try if you're in the area!

Boba, Bobo, Boba!! Well, not this time, but why not a strawberry shake and a coffee right. We had to walk around a bit after eating at Medium Rare, so why not wash it down with a coffee and a shake? We arrived at this place and the first thing I notices was the decor. They have different artwork on the wall, and they have something on the menu a lot of people do not have...Durian! I didn't get a chance to get it, but I love this fruit. I had it before and enjoyed every bit. I am a sucker for boba, but our server Frita, who was great by the way, advised us that the boba went bad and they couldn't serve it, so, I went with the strawberry shake. The wife ordered a coffee, which was potent and added a spring in your step.
They have a variety of sandwiches as well, which are the bomb and we will attack next time.
Another Alhambra gem! Thanks Frita for being good to us.

Honey Badger is one of the most popular places to get boba drinks and slush drinks. It’s on Main St. about half a block away from the Edward movie theater. I would highly recommend the taro ice cream, which is made with tons of real taro. You can even choose from a chunky version or smooth version of the ice cream. The matcha smoothie is also very tasty and not that sweet. The interior is nice with cool décor. They also offer sandwiches, which look very good. The down side is that this place is frequented by students who hang out and do work here, so it’s very difficult to find a seat.

Love the name and love the quirky wifi passwords! Lots of students come here to study so you're lucky if you can get a spot. A lot (if not all) the tables have plugs by it so it's a great place to use your laptop. Their food is also good. I always get the sandwiches and the drinks are nom!

Honey Badger don't care, Honey Badger don't give * *...especially about customer service. I saw this place popping up on my fellow Yelpers' blogs, so I wanted to check it out. After work one day on a Thursday, it was apparent that this place was a student hang out, with laptops and textbooks galore. This isn't your normal walk-in, sit-down, hang-out spot, because you are seated by a server. That's about where our story here goes downhill. It was a nice day, so I asked to be seated outside. I was walked out there by my server and he left a menu. 15 minutes later, I realize I had been forgotten, but even worse, he checked on another guy outside, and saw me, but he just ignored and walked back inside. I walked and and served myself.
-=-Chunky Taro Ice Cream-=- This wasn't as taro intense as I thought it could be. Some bites were a bit too icy, but the chunks of taro was really the source of flavor. The best part about this was the amount they give you. Enough for 3 people sharing.
-=-Blended Green Tea Soy Latte with Boba-=- It was ok. I enjoyed it more than the taro ice cream. This is good for anybody that likes the green tea flavor. Since it was ice blended, it could be a bit thick going down, but that goes with the territory.

I stopped by Honey Badger Cafe this past weekend because I was looking for a good place to study. I wanted to pick some place other than Starbucks as I am not really a fan of their drinks. After searching a bit on my mobile Yelp app I decided to check out Honey Badger.
This is the perfect place to study. They have many tables with outlets available. Each table also has a lamp for extra lighting! When I was there the place was full of people studying and getting work done. Their setup is perfect that!
Food and Drinks:
The food and drinks are very good. While studying I ordered a large Peach and Strawberry Green Tea. It was very refreshing, especially because it was a very hot day. The tea came with bits of chopped up fruit, which was awesome.
After getting some work done I decided to buy some more drinks and a sandwich to share with my mom when I got home. This time I ordered a Lychee Black Tea, a Java Chip Mocha, and a Pesto Chicken Sandwich. The sandwich was good and fresh. It was topped with mixed greens and tomato. Just like my first tea I also loved the lychee black tea. Chopped lychee FTW. My mom also enjoyed her Java Chip Mocha. She loved blended coffee drinks.
The prices are very affordable! Everything I ordered 3 drinks (one large, two regular) and a Sandwich was only like $16. Not bad considering I also got about 4 hours of work done.
The service is good. Everyone is nice and friendly. The servers come by occasionally to check up on you while you study. The make sure to keep you are fed and hydrated while you work hard.
If you luck out you can find parking on the streets. Otherwise, you can park in any of the public lots and walk over. There is plenty of lots to park in since it is located in Downtown Alhambra.
I definitely wouldn't mind coming back to study or get some work done. Actually, I would even stop by just to pick up a sandwich or some drinks!
