Impeccable service, lovely rooms, and fantastic views. I though tea here was a bit more pomp than quality but the Peninsula is well-deserving of its position as one of the top hotels on the planet.

Excellent! - 92% of guests recommend

I had always heard about this property and the great views of the harbor. I had also de-prioritized it because I don't like the Kowloon side as much and the hotel itself looks a bit dated on the outside. There is also very stiff competition from other properties and Intercontinental usually doesn't hold muster vs. Four Seasons, Mandarin, and the ...

Locally, this property is referred to as the "old" Mandarin Oriental because it was the first one in the city. Friends who live in Hong Kong advised against staying there but I was pleasantly surprised. The property is in an excellent location that is an easy 10 min walk from the Hong Kong Airport Express station. The external facade isn't ...

This stunning property is exactly what you would expect -- but more modern and stylish than the typical old school Ritz. A visit to Ozone on the 118th floor is a must if you are staying here -- expensive but the views are fantastic though, ironically, you are a bit too high up to fully enjoy them.

    The Landmark Mandarin Oriental

    The Landmark Mandarin Oriental

    Class:

I've stayed at a lot of luxury hotel and this is one of my favorite. Impeccable style, service, and somehow the rooms are massive despite being in one of the most expensive real estate markets on earth. Better than the Mandarin and a few notches above the Peninsula (sorry)... both of which are excellent.

Azure (in the LKF hotel) is one of my favorite go-to spots in LKF. It's free to enter, but you must buy a drink to get up to the dance floor and roofdeck. It's great on Saturdays for dancing (electro pop music). For a more chill experience, you can play pool and enjoy drinks on the first floor.

We stayed here while attending a friend's wedding in Hong Kong back in 2006. Very modern decor. Pretty convenient location. Right outside of it is the hustle and bustle that is Hong Kong, with the tiny alley ways they call streets. But, the hotel itself is a nice escape. Very high end but not very expensive. Breakfast included (which I ...
