    The Equus Hotel

    The Equus Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4
    3 reviews

I finally had the chance to visit The Equus recently--and I can't wait to recommend it. The hotel has been tucked away in western Waikiki for decades, but in the last few years a total renovation and re-imagination of its potential took place, and it's completely awesome. It's also still under the radar, so rates are often exceptional. The Equus ...

    Stay Hotel Waikiki

    Stay Hotel Waikiki

    3.5
    6 reviews

This hotel is super close to the beach and all the shops and restaurants in Waikiki; however, it's a bit run down. I found 2 roaches in the room during my stay and the air conditioner blows straight into your face when you sleep. My room wasn't cleaned at all one of the evenings - strange. The pictures made this ...

    Sheraton Waikiki

    Hotel Class:

Nothing says summer like floating at the Sheraton Waikiki's Infinity Pool overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The hotel's a winner for location, hipness, restaurant/bar, service, and great ocean views from Diamond Head to the westside.

Beautiful Moana Surfrider nestled in Waikiki's beaches was the venue for earlier this evenings event as we attended Natalie Ai Kamauu's CD release performance held free to first come attendees. This hauntingly beautiful resort now owned by Westin was one of the original hotels establishment on Waikiki. Today it holds numerous functions from weddings to musical performances. The cost is ...

    The Waikiki Beachside Hostel

    The Waikiki Beachside Hostel

    3.5
    5 reviews

We stayed at the Waikiki Beachside Hostel in Jan of 2013 and booked a semi private room which is shared with two other people. (four people total) The semi private room sleeps two, and outside of that room sleeps another two people. What I like about the Waikiki Beachside Hostel is that it is about a block from the beach ...

    The Royal Hawaiian

    The Royal Hawaiian

    Hotel Class:
    5
    38 reviews

If I could afford limitless luxury in Waikiki, this is where I'd book myself into - if the Halekulani resort was already full, of course. The Royal Hawaiian, which is nicknamed the 'Pink Palace' for reasons that will be obvious once you arrive, is one of Waikiki's oldest historic hotels. A recent head-to-toe renovation has really gussied up the place. ...

Small place but the vibes were on point. Last Friday DJ Rock City from Chicago turned the place out. They sure do love '90's hip hop!

    The Kahala Hotel & Resort

    The Kahala Hotel & Resort

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    24 reviews

Once you step inside the Kahala, you can understand why this is the choice of resorts for celebs vacationing on Oahu. The Kahala is about a 15 minute drive from Waikiki, so it's around a $20 cab ride. I attended a wedding here. The ceremony was located at the Koko Head Gazebo, which had a beautiful view of Koko Head ...

    Hilton Waikiki Beach

    Hilton Waikiki Beach

    Hotel Class:
    4
    14 reviews

Rooms are decently sized, there's a pool outdoors with a bar, the cafe in the hotel serves food round the clock and it's tasty, if you don't feel like wandering far. The beach is easy to access, only 3 blocks away, and the room I was in had a view that looked out to the ocean.

Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa

Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa

    4.5
    11 reviews

Right in the heart of Waikiki, the Hyatt Regency may be a chain, but it's slicker than a lot of the other overpriced properties by the beach. There's tons of fun for kids here (including Camp Hyatt activities, so parents can get some time alone), and the beach is just a short walk outside your door. It's midway down the ...

    Sheraton Princess Kaiulani

    Sheraton Princess Kaiulani

    Hotel Class:
    3.5
    17 reviews

Walked into the lobby and attendants were friendly. Hotel was nice, open-air, bar/lounge was close by, pool was conveniently outside but not very private as it was right next to the sidewalk area. Walked into the room and it smelled of stale smoke, even though a non-smoking room was requested. Moved to another floor and room and still a little ...

    Outrigger Reef on the Beach

A great location right on Waikiki Beach and close to a very popular surf spot, Pops. I love the open air lobby and Hawaiian designs of the hotel. It really maintains an island feel and the friendly service adds to the aloha spirit. Some great places to eat are Kani Ka Pila Grille, Ocean House Restaurant, or Shorebird Restaurant where ...

    Lotus Honolulu

I attended a meeting/presentation here and thought the property was quite nice. The meeting room opened up to the outdoors and made for a very airy feel. Clean and comfortable; made for an enjoyable experience. If the accommodations are similar, then it should be a great hotel.

    Hale Koa Hotel

    Hale Koa Hotel

THE absolute best deal on Waikiki Beach. And again, yes, the catch is you have to be a member of the Armed Services (doesn't matter how you're affiliated, you just have to have proper ID). The massage/facial combo is what I'm totally hooked on here. It's sooooooooooooooo reasonable!!! The restaurants are also very good and very cheap.

I didn't milk the place for what it's worth, but I do know that the view of the beach from the rooms here is awesome. The staff at the front desk and valet parking were friendly and welcoming. The hotel has an ABC store downstairs, the fish tank in one of their restaurants is pretty cool, it's within walking distance ...

Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa

Nice hotel across the street from the beach. It's a bit old, and kinda at the southern end of the downtown Waikiki. But it's totally sufficient (and tons better than those hotels more inland) when it comes to a place to stay while in Honolulu. Sansei is located in this hotel so automatically a benefit.

    Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel

Located across from the beach with a breezy, open lobby and a welcoming, spacious pool area opposite the front desk. The pool is very active with families having fun. So some might find the noise a bit too much. The room wasn’t very large, but quite stylish with bright, cheerful colors and a big flatscreen that was equipped with gaming ...

My gal pal and I stayed here through a bundled package we booked through Pleasant Holidays. You can get some really great rates for Ala Moana if you keep your eyes peeled. Ala Moana is great for convenience---across from Ala Moana Beach, walking distance to Waikiki, and of course--in the heart of the Ala Moana Mall. Rooms were modern and ...
