Hidden about a quarter mile behind the Colosseum, it's well worth the search to seek out this restaurant with a tiny storefront. The tables inside are cramped, so you sit very close to the next table, but it makes it easier to discuss how good the food is here. The Nerone specialty pasta is absolutely amazing. The pasta itself is perfectly cooked and the sauce and toppings really complement each other and the pasta. The prices are a little on the expensive side, but the food and the friendly service are worth it.

I'm glad Rick Steve recommended this little restaurant in his book, otherwise I'd never have been able to find it on my own. The food is well above average (of Rome, that is to say, it's pretty damn good) and the prices are reasonable.
