Fun place to stay if you are in Seattle to go shopping and out on the town. Great restaurants are walking distance. It's a large hotel with a chain feeling but lovely. Oh and this is THE place to stay if you are going to a show at the Paramount Theatre.

Pricey place but oh my god, do you get what you pay for! There's a Microsoft Surface in the lobby, staff are friendly and extremely attentive. The concierges are knowledgable and helpful. The attached restaurant is really good and well priced for what you get. And the rooms are just amazing.

Hotel 1000 is the kind of place where you have to splurge a little bit, but it’s totally worth it. The hotel and rooms are beautiful, the attention to detail is amazing, the staff is great. Boka, the restaurant downstairs, has a cool happy hour with $3, $6 and $9 plates like truffle fries, jalapeno poppers (with Beecher’s cheese curds!)

There’s one good reason to stay at this hotel, and that’s the virtual golf club downstairs. We’re not just talking putt putt - they have 50 real courses available virtually for you to choose from, and it’s open all day every day until 9pm. They even have a little machine that pumps in a piney smell like you're on the course.
Really, this place is just really advanced technologically in a lot of ways. I noticed a button below the doorbell outside my room - turns out it was a silent button for the staff. Instead of knocking and potentially disturbing you, they push this button and an infrared signal scans the room (you don’t see it) and lets them know if anyone’s in there because of the body heat. Then inside the room, you have buttons for “do not disturb” and “service.” The room also had a really nice LCD TV, and the Internet was free and worked well. All the snacks and drinks are on sensors that alert housekeeping when you take one so they know to refill - pretty cool. So this place is a little expensive, but worth it if you want a quality room.

This is no old-fashioned boutique hotel - the 1000 is so modern it’s practically like being in the Jetsons. (Okay, maybe not THAT modern.) But still – they offer wifi throughout the hotel, and it’s free, which sadly is pretty rare. And the connection is fantastic, so if you’ve got to get some work done, this is a great hotel for that. They also have these cool kiosks downstairs where you can check your email and even check-in with your airline before you leave!
The staff are super helpful and friendly, it’s not a snobby vibe here at all. The rooms are beautiful and really comfortable, and the bathrooms rock – you have to take a bath, just to see how the tub fills from the ceiling! The wall separating the bathroom from the room is glass, but there's a screen you can pull down for privacy.
And the location is fantastic, right on 1st Avenue by the market and really close to the art museum and plenty of restaurants.
