    My Favorite Hotel In NYC!
This is Uber-Cool and a welcome addition to the Manhattan Hotel scene. Located in Chelsea in an area that used to be known for nightclubs it is actually now quiet but still central.
Extremely modern it is more than minimalist and almost bare.
You will appreciate the decor and vibe if you have familiarity with Cafe Del Mar.
I love the latin feel and did I mention the staff is phenomenal?

Hip boutique hotel in the heart of Chelsea, right across the street from the city's trendiest art galleries. The minimalist design stands out while the rooftop is where you can take in impressive skyline views of Manhattan. The pool area is ridiculously small, but all in all a cool spot to hang out. Every first Thursday of the month you can go for a fun art gallery tour, conveniently located on the same street.

An almost obnoxiously Italian hotel. The rooftop area is nice but the drinks are expensive and the crowd is almost all Italian. If you want a rooftop bar, I prefer Gallow Green just down the street for better drinks, service, and a view.

Ouch this is so cool it hurts. Grupo Habita which has been making its name with ultra-hip hotels in Mexico ventures north of the border for this Chelsea outpost designed by award-winning architect Enrique Norten. Lots of clean, sleek lines, concrete as an object of beauty and a local landmark, even from the outside. The bar alone is like a villain's lair from one of the 1970s James Bond movies. Sadly, like most hotels in Manhattan space is at a premium and even the larger rooms feel compact.
