This hotel will always hold a special place in my heart. It's where I stayed the night before my wedding with all of my bridesmaids and where my husband and I stayed on the wedding night. The staff was super nice and we had a great time sitting down in the lobby drinking wine. Another thing to note, delicious room service is provided by Lola which is a Tom Douglas restaurant.

**GOOD BUSINESS HOTEL WITH REASONABLE RATES BUT A FEW QUIRKS**

Room 1001 (top floor, but near elevator) provided me with no nice views, but a vanity, a comfortable bed, and walk-in closet.

    PROS:
*Walking distance to the shopping, Pike Market, and public transportation
    *Good layout and space
    *$134 a night
    *Friendly staff
    *Business center
    *Fitness center
*Tom Douglas restaurant, LOLA is downstairs, Dahlia Lounge and Dahlia Bakery are across the street
    *Free internet access (thank you)
    *Four-legged friends welcome
    *100% non-smoking hotel
*Daily newspaper (Seattle Times or NY Times)
    *Safe

    CONS:
*Parking $39 a night; valet only
    *No great views
*Had to call the front desk at 2AM when our next-door neighbors were loud and obnoxious with their partying

SIDE RANT: If I fully paid for a room to sleep and then CANNOT, due to distractions made by my neighbor for more than half an hour, the hotel SHOULD either partially or fully REFUND my stay for that night. I thought this was BALONEY when I mentioned this to the front desk and THEIR RESPONSE was, "We'll talk to the manager about it."

    THANKS, DUDES.

Overall, it is a solid hotel and I wouldn't mind returning here for another SEA visit, however I would NOT request a room near that squeaky elevator.

    RECOMMEND.

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend without the kids and really enjoyed it. Scandinavian modern boutique hotel walking distance to most of downtown. Not on the water however.
