The Hotel Boulderado is old school Western luxury at its best. The hotel was built at the turn of the century during the height of the Colorado mining boom. If you want to feel like a lucky prospector whose claim is paying out nuggets of gold left and right, this is the place to stay.
From the street the Boulderado is an impressive brick-front structure with green awnings and the Colorado flag flying high above. You are greeted by bellhops and valets who will stable your horse and relieve your burdens. The lobby is a soaring vision of dark wood, brass fixtures, chandeliers and a stained glass ceiling.
The hotel bar and restaurant can be accessed from Spruce Street or through the lobby and offers impressive local fare at a reasonable price. The bar is open to the general public and is a good option for a quiet drink.
The rooms are priced at $200 and up per night but if you're looking for luxury in downtown Boulder, the Boulderado is it.Recommended for:

I stayed here for a very good friend's wedding. The hotel is charming and hearkens back to the gold mining days of Colorado, but has the amenities and comfort of a fully modern hotel. Great location in downtown Boulder. The restaurant has a good breakfast, and the entry glass atrium is gorgeous.

Great location, one block off the Pearl Street Mall. The accommodations were adequate with the best shower I have experienced. The hotel has a good restaurant although we only ate breakfast there. They even split everything we had so we could share easily. I understand that it is excellent for dinner although Boulder has a number of great restaurants.
