This is a nice four staff hotel near the Colosseum. The location is amazing, for sure, putting you near the Colosseo Metro stop and the many buses that pass by that connect to other parts of the city. The terrace is an added bonus, too. The area is heavily trafficked by tourists, and I was really put off by this. I found the area to be really noisy, too. The interior of the hotel is well designed and comfortable, but I find the nightly rate to be a bit on the high side for four stars. The staff, though, are nice and helpful.

This hotel is only steps from the Roman Coliseum. It's a small hotel, but very luxurious. The staff is friendly, and the grand breakfast buffet on the rooftop is awesome. This hotel is also kid friendly - they happily add extra beds for children (often hard to find in Italy). We love it and have stayed here many times.

Staff were very friendly and their english was brillant. They offered to book sightseeing trips, recommend restaurants and showed us a map of the city highlighting places worth visiting. I think you can find this very helpful. Rooms are quiet and reasonably immune to traffic noise (probably helped by the fact they are on a slight side street rather than a main road), clean and spacious for a city hotel. They are to high standard, everything you would expect from a four star hotel.
This hotel is ideally placed for visiting the Colosseum and other nearby sights. It takes only a few minutes walk to the Colosseum and en route are several restaurants and an Irish pub for those that enjoy a Guinness.
