This isn't really a hotel, it’s a number of rooms in a few converted apartments in an old building in front of Termini Station, so couldn't be more convenient. You have to find the right bell to ring. The building entrance looks a bit run down and you have to carry your luggage up a number of stairs before you reach the old lift to take you to the second floor. The ‘hotel’ is actually run by ‘Hotel Luciani’ which is just round the corner on Via Milazzo - it has the same owner, so you have to go there to check in and can use the facilities there. The rooms are quite small but are clean and have private shower room, TV, safe and a small fridge which is good for cool drinks in the summer. Breakfast is included but served at ‘Hotel Luciani’ and consists of a very basic italian pastry and hot drink. The area is a bit dodgy and rather lively and full of small restaurants as well as their smells which if the windows are open come in and say hello…

    Sometimes you gotta sacrifice...
And in retrospect I have no regrets but at the same time never would I stay here again, unless I was having the same adventure...

Mind you I took the train from Florence and was merely spending a couple of hours in Rome before flying out the next morning to Athens.. All I really needed was a room to close my eyes in since I arrived rather late to begin with. Did I say I need to close my eyes.. never mind that, I only stored my luggage.

Where was I the rest of the night you wonder? I was running around all of Rome all night long.. hit all the sights, from the Spanish Steps all the way to the Pantheon to the Trevi Fountain. I had the run of the whole city.. that is till the sun came up and I had to rush back to the hotel to check out, pick up my bags and get into my car service to take me to the airport.

But from what I recall the hotel was a lackluster hodge podge of rooms...
    but my bags thank you!
    ;D
