Simply stunning. One of the finer hotels in Naples for its service, location and beauty. Located up in Vomero, the hotel offers some amazing views of Capri and Vesuvius. A particularly cool feature in the rooms is how the bathroom light can be set to different colors. (What you do with this info is up to you.)
The funicolare and Metro stops are right nearby, so it's easy to get to Via Toledo, Chiaia or anywhere else in Naples. The pastry shop a few steps away is also amazing. Definitely stop into there for a morning sfogliatella! A local friend told me that Vomero is like a totally different city (and some of its residents insist that they are a different city), and it definitely feels like it. The traffic is less chaotic, the streets are wider and the higher altitude seems to bring about a freshness in the air.Recommended for:

A marvelous hotel in a marvelous place, definitely adorable! Cimarosa Hotel is located in the hill of Vomero, a very nice and classy place, which is very reachable too, even if though is not in the center and is quite far from the train station (but hey, is amazing! Really worth it!). Besides, funicolare station (funicolare is like a metro’s mother, built in 1928!) is very close, so you can move easily to the Centro Storico. Rooms are wide, beautiful and sunny, with a nice view on the main street of via Cimarosa; service is good and the staff is very gentle. The hotel is surrounded by shops and restaurant and if you want, you can take a walk on the beautiful park of “Villa Floridiana”. Nearby the hotel there’s one of the most ancient pizzerias in Naples, “Pizzeria Gorizia”, my favorite restaurant when I’m in Vomero.
