You can’t get a much more central location than this hotel, located on a busy street and literally outside of the Saint-Michel RER (taking you directly to CDG airport) and Métro station.
The small entrance hall leads you up a flight of stairs to the reception area on the first floor and you immediately forget the frantic energy of the street outside. It has a very calm French country farm feel with cute accessories and a small breakfast area off to one side (but to be honest, with the choice of Cafés outside I wouldn’t pay the extra fee to eat here).
The rooms are all facing the street but thanks to the double glazed windows are surprisingly quiet and very bright. They are elegantly decorated and have a definite feminine touch with ornate mirrors and lamps mixed with plush armchairs and different textures and fabrics throughout.

This is an elegantly decorated little hotel in St. Michel that offers a nice, peaceful haven from the bustling Boulevard St. Michel. It's very near to a metro station, with walking distance from Seine, Notre Dame and numerous restaurants.
The entrance is easy to miss between a store and a tobacco store, and the reception is on the second floor. The lobby and breakfast area are decorated in soothing greys, beiges and off-whites, with comfy sofas and armchairs scattered around.
Rooms are quite small, but they have everything you need: a big bed, minibar, and a clean bathroom. They even offer a robe, which is rare for hotels in this price range. This is a great hotel for its super location and affordable rates.

The Hotel Cluny Square is a nice little place. The staff is very friendly, and there are several advantages to booking on their website (free breakfast for example). They also offer free printing.
The rooms are small but very cute, quiet, and bright.
The location is very central, right at the intersection of the Saint-Michel and Saint-Germain boulevards.
The one downside that some visitors should be aware of is that there is a lift, but only from the second floor up.

Lovely little hotel with tasteful decor, just like website. Staff were friendly and hotel was very clean. The neiborhood is full of shops restaurants and busy bars. Breakfast was self serve for cereal, yoghurts and boiled eggs with toast. Tea and coffee was served with pastries and french bread. Plenty to eat, however the dining area doubled as reception/lounge and at peak time there wasn't enough room and a queue soon formed.

I've toured most of the hotels in the happened area around St-Michel, Blvd. St. Germain. Hotel Cluny Square is really in a spectacular location, and above average in most respects. The interior has been recently renovated, and the rooms are quiet, despite overlooking such a noisy area. There are discounted rates for multi-day stays, so make sure to check the website before booking.
