    323 reviews

I'm not sure how but the basilica managed to escape us while we were planning our trip. With a morning in Paris to kill, we thumbed through our guidebook and found this so headed on up. We were unaware of how many stairs there were. Also, we definitely approached from a side of the church, not from the front, which ...

Place du Tertre is filled with colorful and quaint art. While the art may not be at the level of Mona Lisa, it is still a reflection of creativity thriving in this little square. Go for a stroll in the morning before it gets too crowded.

This is a small restaurant near Canal Saint Martin. The menu is limited in order to allow the chef to focus on what is good that day. Features natural wines. We had an excellent and inexpensive meal.

Point Éphemère Is a little artistic space on Canal St. Martin that hosts parties, concerts, exhibitions and festivals. This is not a place where you get perfectly mixed cocktails in a fancy glass- a pint of beer in plastic cup is more likely beverage in here. It's a bit gritty, but music is good here, whether there's a club with ...

The hottest nightspot opening of 2011 is this club, designed by David Lynch of 'Twin Peaks' and 'Blue Velvet' fame, which opened in the 2nd arrondissement last month. It's members only before midnight (reduced rate memberships are available for foreigners). Despite being only a 300-400 person venue, the place feels incredibly spacious and I really loved the smoking 'forest'

This is a great class to take to learn how to make typical french goodies (like macaroons, croissants, pastries or bread) in a fun atmosphere! You can also learn to prepare a 4 course meal: go to a typical french market with a chef, learn how to make the deliciousness, then enjoy it together!
