I stumbled upon the Hotel de Nesle quite by accident as it is located in a small, quiet, and mysterious street in between the banks of Seine River and the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood. I caught a glimpse of the lobby through the window and had to go inside to see the incredibly charming decor for myself. "What is this place?", I thought to myself, as I looked at the dried bouquets hanging from the ceiling. Come to find out, its a cute and cozy budget hotel, decorated in playful medieval fashion, and it is also connected to the historical Nesle Tower (look it up on Wikipedia). Not bad for 70-100 Euros per night.

The bedroom are awesome, with old furniture, and a good bathroom. Too many stairs, with no elevator was a problem to bring our luggages to the 4rth floor. But its a well localizated hotel, near by everything.Recommended for:Backpackers
